First cultivated in Somerset, England, Porter’s Perfection are considered “vintage” quality apples – which means that they can make a superb single-varietal cider. We craft our version through wild fermentation, followed by a secondary fermentation in American oak barrels. The result offers apple skin, mild farmhouse and leather aromas, with a dried apple, oak and burnt butter flavor profile – and a touch of smoke. This beauty is bone-dry, with the type of tannic finish one might expect from deep red wine.
